MarketPlace Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

• These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Motormova platform by Service Providers (‘Transporters’).
  
• By registering and using the Motormova platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
  
• Motormova operates as an online marketplace connecting customers requiring vehicle transport services with independent transport providers.
  
• Motormova is not a transport carrier and does not provide transportation services directly.

2. Definitions

• Platform – The Motormova website and associated systems.
  
• Customer – A person or business requesting transport services.
  
• Transporter / Service Provider – A registered user offering vehicle transport services.
  
• Booking Fee – The fee payable by the Customer to Motormova upon acceptance of a quote.
  
• Quote Value – The total agreed transport price between Customer and Transporter.

3. Role of Motormova

• Motormova acts solely as an intermediary marketplace.
  
• Motormova does not enter into transport contracts, guarantee job availability, guarantee payment outside of the booking fee, or assume liability for transport services performed.
  
• The transport contract exists solely between the Customer and the Transporter.

4. Registration & Eligibility

• Transporters must be legally authorised to operate, hold valid insurance coverage, maintain required licences, and provide accurate information.
  
• Motormova reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that fail to meet compliance requirements.

5. Quotes & Acceptance

• Transporters may submit quotes through the platform.
  
• A contract is formed when the Customer accepts a quote and pays the Motormova booking fee.
  
• The Transporter must honour the accepted quote unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Payment Structure

• Customers pay a Booking Fee to Motormova and the remaining balance directly to the Transporter.
  
• Motormova does not collect or hold the full transport price unless explicitly stated.
  
• Transporters are responsible for invoicing Customers where required.

7. Booking Fee Structure

• Motormova charges Customers a progressive booking fee upon acceptance of a quote.
• The Booking Fee is calculated as follows:

• A minimum booking fee of £10 applies.
  7.4 VAT (currently 20%) is added to the Booking Fee only.
  
• The minimum fee protects operational costs including payment processing, fraud prevention, platform maintenance, and customer support.
  
• The Booking Fee is non-refundable except where required by law or under Motormova’s refund policy.

8. Transporter Responsibilities

• Transporters must provide services professionally and lawfully, maintain insurance, communicate promptly, and complete jobs as agreed.
  
• Transporters are solely responsible for vehicle condition, claims, disputes, damages, and regulatory compliance.

9. Reviews & Conduct

• Customers may leave feedback.
  
• Motormova reserves the right to remove misleading or abusive reviews.
  
• Fraudulent activity, fee circumvention, or misuse may result in suspension.

10. Circumvention

• Transporters must not encourage Customers to avoid paying the Booking Fee or attempt off-platform transactions.
  
• Circumvention may result in suspension and recovery of lost fees.

11. Limitation of Liability

• Motormova is not liable for service quality, delays, loss or damage during transport, or disputes between parties.
  
• Liability is limited to the Booking Fee paid.

12. Termination

• Motormova may suspend or terminate accounts where Terms are breached, fraud is suspected, or compliance fails.

13. Amendments

• Motormova reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
  
• Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
