SECTION 1 – Customer Terms & Conditions

  1. Introduction
    1.1 Motormova operates as an online marketplace connecting customers with independent vehicle transport providers.
    1.2 Motormova is not a transport carrier and does not provide transport services directly.
    1.3 A transport contract is formed solely between the Customer and the Transporter when a quote is accepted.
  2. Booking Fee Structure
    2.1 Upon accepting a quote, Customers must pay a booking fee to Motormova.
    2.2 The booking fee is calculated progressively as follows:

£500 – £1,00012% on first £500, 10% on £500–£1,000
£1,000 – £2,00012% on first £500, 10% on £500–£1,000, 8% on £1,000–£2,000
Over £2,00012% on first £500, 10% on £500–£1,000, 8% on £1,000–£2,000, 5% above £2,000

2.3 A minimum booking fee of £10 applies.
2.4 VAT (currently 20%) applies to the booking fee only.
2.5 The remaining balance is paid directly to the Transporter.

  1. Payments & Liability
    3.1 Motormova only collects the booking fee.
    3.2 Transporters are responsible for service delivery, vehicle safety, insurance, and legal compliance.
    3.3 Motormova’s liability is limited to the booking fee paid.

SECTION 2 – Refund Policy

  1. Booking Fee Refunds
    1.1 Booking fees are generally non-refundable once a quote is accepted.
    1.2 Refunds may be granted where:
    – The Transporter cancels the job.
    – The Transporter fails to perform the agreed service.
    – Required by UK consumer law.
    1.3 Refund decisions are made at Motormova’s discretion following review.
  2. Cancellations
    2.1 Customers must notify both Motormova and the Transporter of cancellations.
    2.2 Refund eligibility may depend on timing and job status.

SECTION 3 – Privacy Policy

  1. Data Collection
    Motormova collects personal information including name, contact details, job details, and payment information.
  2. Purpose of Processing
    – To operate the marketplace
    – To facilitate bookings
    – To prevent fraud
    – To comply with legal obligations
  3. Data Sharing
    Customer and Transporter details are shared only as necessary to complete transport services.
    Motormova does not sell personal data.
  4. Data Security
    Appropriate technical and organisational measures are implemented to protect user data.
  5. GDPR Rights
    Users may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of their data in accordance with UK GDPR.

SECTION 4 – Transporter Verification Policy

  1. Verification Requirements
    Transporters must provide:
    – Valid identification
    – Proof of insurance
    – Relevant operating licences
    – Company registration (if applicable)
  2. Ongoing Compliance
    Motormova reserves the right to request updated documents at any time.
    Failure to maintain compliance may result in suspension.
  3. Right to Refuse
    Motormova may refuse or revoke verification at its discretion.

SECTION 5 – General Legal Provisions

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Amendments: Motormova may update policies at any time.
